Combination of Corn Waste and Egg Shell as Zn Metal Adsorbent with Batch System

<p>This study aims to determine: the ability of corn cobs and eggshells as Zn metal adsorbents, functional groups adsorbent, what isotherm patterns occur in adsorbent adsorbing metal, optimum ratio mass composition adsorption, contact time for eggshell concentration adsorbate be adsorbed by adsorbents. This used an experimental method laboratory. characterization includes using FTIR, test effectiveness adsorbents AAS instrument. Kinetic analysis adsorption with Langmuir isotherm, Freundlich Temkin dubinin-radushkevivh isotherm. The results showed that: Corn can zinc adsorbents; there is a group -OH at wave number 3415,15 cm<sup>-1</sup> eggshell, bent vibration calcium carbonate 3400,65 cm<sup>-1</sup>, process egg shells follows pattern (chemical adsorption), comparison are 1:2 0,15 grams 80,4571%, 90 minutes percentage absorbed 75,5957%, cob 1 mg/L 82,8377%.</p>
